It took 6 years for Julien Lachaussée to bring together these 146 portraits, of tattoo artists and tattooed.

Bodybuilders, club bouncers, strippers, rockabilly, bikers... have trusted him by lending themselves to the game of truth under his very relative lens.

In black and white or in color, all these photos were taken with silver film and Polaroid, for their authentic side. As are these characters.

In 2016, 27 new portraits complete the first edition.
