C215 - WAR IN UKRAINE

“To bring a little humanity” to a territory plagued by bitter fighting, at the very beginning of the war in March 2022, C215 summoned his art, his stencils and his paint bombs during two stays in Ukraine. On a bus shelter, near a market, in destroyed housing, on a Russian tank or at the entrance to the metro, the artist depicts the sweetness and innocence of childhood, peace, freedom and renewal, creating a striking contrast with the desolation of the landscapes affected by the Russian army. In Kyiv, Lviv, Zhytomyr and Bucha, C215 brings light where the sparks of resistance are not extinguished.
