Ella & Pitr│Like Ants

Ella & Pitr have been sharing their life and career since 2007. These two artists from Saint-Étienne create all kinds of works, ranging from drawings for galleries to monumental frescoes painted on huge surfaces on the ground, on walls or on roofs - without forgetting video, screen printing, anamorphoses , books and fake ads. Their work is often marked by an aesthetic of innocence, between nostalgia and romanticism, where their singular characters, tall in stature and in color - sleeping colossi, large birds with heavy wings, carriers of stones, old women with glasses¿ - seem to form "a family of silent and ephemeral witnesses in an urban environment" that leaves no one indifferent¿ Known throughout the world for their gigantic frescoes, they have been working on canvas for a few years and are regularly exhibited in galleries.
