Lori Zimmer - The Art of Spray Paint Graffiti: From Wall to Canvas

Lori Zimmer is an author and curator. She leads a career that follows both public art and the graffiti community. She is also the creator of the Art Nerd New York blog, and a historical guide to art in New York that takes an offbeat look at public art, exhibits, and artists' studios. Since 2009, Lori Zimmer has been involved in the art world at different levels: she writes, leads projects as a curator, advises artists and organizes events. Known for constructing her exhibitions by following a narrative, she has mounted projects for organizations such as Times Square Arts, Scope Art Show in Miami and New York, and the Act/Art Committee for the White House. She lives in New York, but takes every opportunity to travel, meet artists or visit galleries around the world.
