MTN Limited Edition Royal Dog
Royyal Dog (real name Chris Chanyang Shim) is a graffiti artist from Seoul, Korea. He became known for his photorealistic murals of African American women in traditional Korean dresses (hanbok) and his portraits of iconic rappers. His paintings convey a message of harmony between peoples and have been recognized for their multiculturalism. His work can be seen all over the world.
Royyal Dog studied animation at Chungkang College of Cultural Industries in Incheon. He also studied Pastoral Studies at the International Evangelical College in the Philippines before dropping out to take up graffiti in Perth, Australia. He currently resides in Los Angeles.
Montana Colors is dedicating a limited edition spray can to him from the 2022 collection. The design of the spray can is lithographed, that is to say printed directly on the metal and not affixed to a simple paper label. This model is produced in a limited series of 500 copies stamped by the artist. Each bomb is sold in a wooden glass box, enough to satisfy the most demanding collectors.
