Nibor Reiluos went to live in NYC for a year in 2005. Photographer and graffiti enthusiast, he walked all the streets of Manhattan. He returned to Paris in 2006 with more than 800 different doors listed. 10 years later, in 2015, he decided to go back to 200 selected addresses to shoot them again. He will end up retaining 99 of them for the production of this book.
For the first time a book focused on the tag documents its evolution over time and in one place. “Ten years later”, we realize that 100% of the speakers are different, but also that the styles have evolved.
On this short scale, these photos reveal to us that the city has nevertheless changed, it has mutated, everything is cleaner, smoother, gentrified. This book of photographs will delight lovers of pure graffiti, architecture or urban planning.
Finally, it will allow readers passing through NYC to be able to view, if they wish, their own updated version thanks to the addresses appearing inside these pages.

Format 19 x 29.7 cm (French style) / 216 color pages
Softcover with flaps / Bilingual French-English [2016]
